Losing Game
Earlier today I had a conversation with a single black male that I met on Super Bowl Sunday. We connected on the strength of both us are from Brooklyn and Brooklyn people are just cool like that. We’ve had a lot of friendly banter back and forth since our meeting.
L.A. Virgin
Today’s banter was about relationships. When I told him about my single life in LA, he actually called me an LA virgin. He said he didn’t know women like me exist. We both LOL! At one point he was speechless then completely turned on. I’m not Jesus, I don’t walk on water and I’m no better than the woman next door however, once I got hip to the foolishness that people call dating and relating in LA, I decided I wanted nothing to do with it and took myself out of the losing game. I kissed dating good bye.
Find a Wife
We talked about marriage. I asked him straight up if he was a man whore and he said nah…not really. My whoring days are pretty much over. I still get around a little bit but you know…not like I used to. I told him he needs to find a wife then wait until marriage to consummate. Of course he gagged but he gave it some thought. He said what you’re saying is right, its the right way but I’m conditioned to getting sex from women. I said the same way you are conditioned to get sex how about you condition your penis to stay put until you meet a wife.
Where He Puts His Penis
Today was the first time a woman had ever had that sort of straight forward conversation with him; a conversation that actually challenged him to think about women and relationships on a deeper level. A conversation that challenged him to think about how he approaches and interacts with women. A conversation that challenged him to think about where he puts his penis. After reflecting on my conversation with him, I took to Twitter and shared the following:
Men are turned on by a woman who knows her worth and won’t settle. They want women that make them approach relationships differently. One of my male followers replied – “That’s why I married my wife.”
They are intrigued and turned on by women that have high standards & live by those standards no matter the cost. Men are looking for women.
A virtuous woman will make a man think deeply about changing his ways…changing how he approaches relationships/women. One of my female followers replied “Thank you.”
Men are whores because we allow them to be. They sleep around because just like the Motel 6, a pair of legs is always open.
While it may seem they want you to give it up sooner than later, many of them don’t. He wants you to make him wait for it.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but many women are responsible for the bad behavior in men. We teach them how to treat us. Men won’t change until we change.
Men are looking for women that are set apart. Set yourself apart ladies. Don’t spread yourself thin like every other woman. Be different.

Everyday Use by Anyone
When I think about being set apart, I think about my mother’s fine dishes in her china cabinet. Those dishes are set apart for special occasions while her regular dishes in the kitchen cabinets are for everyday use by anyone. Everyone knows the dishes in the China cabinet are special. You need permission to use them. There must be an occasion.
Hot and Holy
A woman who is set apart is in the China cabinet. She knows her worth and she protects it. Every man can’t be all up in her mix. She’s decided to be different than the rest. She’s decided to raise the bar high by going against the mediocre standards of society and do it Gods way. She’s decided to be HOT and HOLY! If you meet her standards, she grants you permission into her life. If not, she is perfectly fine standing alone…no matter what the cost. Ladies, men are looking for women that are set apart. Are you set apart?
